LAHORE, Feb 1: Supreme Court Bar Association President Aitzaz Ahsan is set to participate in the rally which will be taken out from Nasser Bagh by the Concerned Citizens of Pakistan, lawyers, political parties and people from all walks of life.

The CCP, which came into being after Aitzaz was detained, had been taking out rallies from Zaman Park every Sunday to create awareness among the people regarding importance of the judiciary.

The organisation had joined hands with lawyers, students and others to broaden the sphere of the movement.

Lawyers from the Lahore Bar Association and the Lahore High Court Bar Association are also scheduled to attend the rally. The participants will make speeches highlighting the need for an independent judiciary.
