Boy kidnapped for Rs4m

SARGODHA, Feb 1: Unidentified criminals have kidnapped a school student and demanded Rs4 million from his father for his release.

Malik Muhammad Aslam of Chak 44-NB told Atta Shaheed police that his son Muhammad Asif was kidnapped when he was on his way to school.

However, the police had yet to find any clue to the abductors.

Separately, highwaymen snatched a car, cell phone and cash from an official of an insurance company near the Sargodha University when he was going home late on Thursday night.
