KARACHI: Six hurt in fire

KARACHI, Jan 31: Six people, including a minor, were injured when a settlement in Tayyab Goth, Gulshan-i-Iqbal, caught fire on Thursday.

According to a fire brigade official, the settlement, located in Block-9, had some 500 huts and 200 of them were destroyed by the fire.

The injured were identified as Ajmal Sajid, Khalid, Rahim Khan, Karam Belli, Paras Bibi and a two-year-old girl. Four goats were also burnt.—PPI
