LANDI KOTAL: Indian national arrested

LANDI KOTAL, Jan 30: Political authorities on Wednesday arrested an Indian national at the Torkhum border for trying to inter Pakistan without legal documents. The Indian national identified as Shri SB Dha, was travelling in a truck.

The authorities also took into custody the truck driver Izat Khan, an Afghan national and sent both the arrested men to Landi Kotal lockup for further investigation.

TWO INJURED: A man and his nephew were fatally injured in exchange of fire incident in Landi Kotal Bazar on Wednesday.

The injured Mirajuddin had an old land dispute with his uncle. A jirga comprising local elders had tried to settle the dispute but failed. —Correspondent
