LAHORE, Jan 27: Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) President Mian Shahbaz Sharif said on Sunday the government would not be able to stop the PML-N from coming into power despite rigging the election.

Speaking at meetings of party workers at the residences of candidates Bilal Yasin and Haji Sharif here on Sunday, he said rigging for getting the desired results would plunge the country into a deep crisis.

He said the country was already plunged into darkness due to power shortage and people were starving because they could not pay for the essential commodities due to inflation, but the PML-Q was rubbing salts into their wounds by raising slogans in favour of Pervez Musharraf in London.—Reporter
