LAHORE, Jan 24: The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan’s (TDAP) Staff Welfare Association has protested against the decision of the TDAP chief executive officer to hire a private firm for tests and interviews of employees before regularising their services.
Association’s Secretary-General Arman Azam said in a statement here on Thursday the condition of test and interview for the regularisation of employees was against the provisions of the TDAP Ordinance under which all regular employees of the Export Promotion Bureau automatically become TDAP employees. He said the association had decided to hold a peaceful demonstration against the decision outside the TDAP office on Friday (today).—Reporter
