Court summons police officials

MITHI, Jan 23: The district and sessions judge of Tharparkar on Wednesday summoned DPO, DSP and SHO to appear in court on Thursday and explain why the in-charge SHO of Mithi police station had restrained people’s movement after 11pm.

The judge gave the order on a complaint filed by Mahesh Kumar Malani, Pakistan People’s Party’s candidate for NA-229.

The in-charge SHO Allah Jurio Saher, who has got a sudden jump to the post from head constable and traffic in-charge, made an announcement after assuming the charge on Tuesday warning people that anybody found out of home after 11:00pm would be taken to task.
