SHIKARPUR, Oct 22: To maintain law and order, preventive measures have been adopted in the district.

All the exit and entrance routes leading to Jacobabad have been sealed-off and the roads are blocked for all kinds of vehicles except loaded trucks.

SUSPENDED: ASP Shikarpur Muhammad Saleem has suspended ASI Ghulam Murtaza Dal and two police constables Dildar Ahmed and Shah Baig and issued show cause notices to SHO New Foujdari police station on the charges of malafide intention in registering FIR and accepting illegal gratification. According to details, ASI Ghulam Murtaza raided a house situated near truck stand Shikarpur, arrested six persons including four women and registered a case against them under section 294 PPC at New Foujdari police station.
