HYDERABAD, Jan 16: The president of District Cricket Association (DCA) Hyderabad has urged the senior Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) officials to reject the Hyderabad U-19 side named for the forthcoming junior cricket championship.

President DCA Hyderabad, Mohammad Raees Arain, has requested in a recent letter to Chairman PCB, Chief Operating Officer (COO), Director Cricket Operations PCB, President Regional Cricket Association (RCA) Hyderabad not to accept the names of Hyderabad U-19 players since they have been selected by the association secretary without consulting the superiors.

The president has accused the secretary of not consulting either him or the team manager and the coach in selection which is directly in violation of the rules set by PCB.

The secretary, allegedly, announced the names of the 25 junior players recently after consulting just one of the three selectors, Jalil Khanzada.
