NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, Jan 13: Four armed men kidnapped a teenage farmer from his field near Mohammad Khan Siyal village on Saturday night.

Sajjad Hussain, 19, and his employee Mohammad Ayoub were watering crops in the field near the village when four unidentified armed men appeared on the scene and kidnapped them.

After covering the distance of 12 kilometres, the kidnappers set Ayoub free at the Rohri Canal bridge and took Sajjad away with them.

More than 500 people of the area and police with sniffer dogs launched a search for the kidnappers and the kidnap victim but lost footprints in Yousuf Kalhoro village.

Father of Sajjad, Manik Siyal, a primary school teacher, told journalists that they had no enmity with anyone.
