PFUJ signature campaign

ISLAMABAD, Jan 11: The Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists has decided to launch a countrywide signature campaign, “Free media for fair polls,” from Monday and has called upon affiliated unions as well as international media bodies to get maximum signatures from editors, media owners, journalists and newspaper workers. The campaign will continue till Jan 25.

According to a press release, the PFUJ has appealed to International Federation of Journalists (IFJ), Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ), Reporters Without Borders, National Union of Journalists (UK) and other media bodies, including APNS and CPNE, to support the PFUJ campaign.
