SHIKARPUR, Jan 11: A number of ‘fake’ appointment orders in previous dates and unnamed appointment orders duly signed by authorities concerned for the posts of primary school teaches (PSTs) and other positions in the education department in Shikarpur district have been issued despite the government’s ban on new appointments.

According to sources in the EDO education office, more than 1,400 appointment orders have been issued. Sources at the Civil Hospital said that more than 1,200 medical fitness certificates had been issued in this regard.

Pakistan People’s Party candidate for NA-202 Aftab Shaban Mirani said that when he complained to Caretaker Sindh Minister for Education Shujaat Baig about the issuance of appointment orders, the minister clarified that he had not approved these appointments.—Correspondent
