LAHORE, Jan 10: Supreme Court Bar Association President Aitzaz Ahsan has moved an application to the Punjab Home Department seeking permission to visit the victims of a suicide attack outside the Lahore High Court and to donate blood and inquire about their health.

Mr Ahsan said he had been detained illegally at his Zaman Park residence, declared a sub-jail.

“I am a senior lawyer of the Supreme Court and should be allowed to visit hospitals in Lahore where the victims of the bomb blast are being treated,” he said. —APP
