LANDI KOTAL, Jan 10: The bodies of six Pakistanis, who were killed in a rain-related accident across the border in the Nangarhar province, were handed over by the Afghan authorities to the political administration at the Torkham border on Thursday, officials said. The victims, including a woman and her two young sons, belonged to the Mardan district.
They were killed when the roof of their house collapsed after a heavy rainfall in the Afghan province of Nangarhar.
The relatives of the dead took the bodies to Mardan for burial.
The deceased were identified as Talaiman, her sons Ibrahim and Ismail, Aashia Bibi, Musina and Ahmad Ali. The officials said that the victims had gone to Afghanistan some time back in search of employment.
