LAHORE, Jan 9: Punjab PML-Q Information Secretary Kamil Ali Agha says except for Rai Mansab Ali, nobody has returned the party ticket.

Talking to reporters on Wednesday, he said: “Old stories are being recycled,” implying that nobody else had left the party.

Rai Mansab had recently joined the PML-N, surrendering the PML-Q tickets for his NA seat.

Rai said on Wednesday that the Election Commission had issued him the symbol of ‘tiger’ and that he would also get the ballot papers printed afresh in accordance with the procedure.

To have the ballot papers reprinted with a changed election symbol, a candidate is required to pay the prescribed fee.

Agha indicated that the PML-Q leaders would soon hold a news conference to clarify reports about various candidates surrendering tickets. — Political Correspondent
