KHAIRPUR, Jan 8: Two real brothers and their friend went missing on their way to Nau Pathano village of Sobhodero taluka last night and their car was found stranded on Nau Pathano-Agra road on Tuesday.

The brothers Bashir Channa and Shabbir Channa and their friend Nazir Panhwar, who are believed to have been kidnapped, were going to Nau Pathano village to collect instalments of motorcycles when they went missing.

Fareed Channa, elder brother of the kidnapped brothers, told journalists that his brothers ran a motorcycle agency in Ranipur and they would visit villages to collect instalments. Police have started investigations into the kidnapping.

In a similar incident Faqir Mohammad and Irshad Ali were kidnapped late on Monday night when they were sitting at their flour-mill-cum-Otaq in Ghaloo village in the jurisdiction of Ahmedpur.

The villagers, with the help of police, pursued the kidnappers and caught up with them en route to their hideout. After an exchange of fire they escaped leaving behind the two hostages.
