HYDERABAD, Jan 8: District Nazim Hyderabad Kanwar Naveed Jamil has instructed utilization of wheat quota of Hyderabad for the district only and maintenance of record of wheat and flour by mills, chakkis, kiryana stores, and Utility stores.

He was presiding over a meeting at his Secretariat on Monday, held to ensure availability of flour to public at government rates.

Kanwar Naveed Jamil said timely action has saved the district from flour crisis which is available at Rs16 per kg.

He said however some complaints did come of overcharging which will be taken care of.

He directed Police and Revenue Department to ensure wheat quota supplied by the Food Department to flour mills and chakkis is used in Hyderabad.

The district nazim said no smuggling out of wheat will be tolerated.

District Coordination Officer Hyderabad Aftab Ahmed Khatri, Nazim Taluka City Javed Jabbar, Nazim Latifabad Taluka Sabir Hussain Kaimkhani, Nazims of different UCs, EDO Revenue Barkaat Rizvi, SP City Khawar Akbar Shaikh, Regional Officer Food Department Salahuddin Shaikh, President Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry Haji Mohammad Yaqoob, President Chakki Owners Association and Regional Manager Utility Stores attended the meeting.
