GUJRANWALA, Jan 7: Health EDO Dr Nisar Ahmad Cheema went on leave till the conclusion of election process in a unique move to observe impartiality as his brother was contesting for National Assembly slot on the PML-N ticket.

Talking to reporters here on Monday, Dr Cheema confirmed proceeding on long leave, and said his brother Justice Iftikhar Ahmad Cheema (retired) was contesting for NA-101, Wazirabad, from PML-N platform against PML-Q’s Chaudhry Hamid Nasir Chattha, who is also father of District Nazim Fiaz Ahmad Chattha.
