ISLAMABAD, Jan 7: A woman committed suicide by taking a massive overdose of medicine here on Monday.

Zahida Bukhari, who was in her late 40s, took the extreme step in her husband’s house in Mora Noor, Banigala, allegedly over some family dispute.

According to the police, a quarrel between the couple preceded the incident, and it is believed that the fight had caused the woman considerable distress.
