KARACHI, Jan 7: Five ships carrying palm oil, containers and to load molasses are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Tuesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where 10 ships berthed during the last two days. They are: Hansa Stavanger, Oel Strength, Itha Bhum, Emirates Adam, Ikan Aktamira, Oriental Express, Shadwan Island and Global Union.

ailings were also active as 10 vessels, St Irene, Hanjin Port Adelaide, Hansa Stavanger, Bunga Delima, Kapitan Byankin, Mrc Coral, Johar, Chemstar Brave, S Kala-1, Pacific Express, World Majesty and Pacific Arrow departed on Monday while Oel Strength, Emirates Adam, Global Union, Darya Raag, Sammi Superstar and Mol Admiration are due to sail out on Tuesday.

A total tonnage of 0.147 million tons, comprising 26,343 tons of export cargo, including 8,158 tons of cement and 0.120 million tons of import tonnage, was handled on during the last two days.

The following ships are due on Tuesday: Raissa Ayu, with 10,000 tons of palm oil, Merlin Explorer, to load 35,000 tons of molasses, Orient Stride, Soon Fu, APL Shenzhen, and Cosco Shekou, with containers.
