Man killed in accident

HARIPUR, Jan 5: A man was killed and 12 others were injured in two road accidents here on Saturday.

A Hattar-bound car collided head-on with a truck near Kangra, leaving two people injured, one of them seriously.

They were taken to the Haripur District Headquarters Hospital where Durriya Khan, an Afghan refugee, died.

In the second accident a Haripur-bound passenger bus collided with a Toyota van. Eleven passengers were injured in the accident.

The injured were taken to a Haripur hospital from where seriously injured Ghulam Hussain, Wilayat Hussain Shah and Din Muhammad were sent to the Ayub Medical Complex, Abbottabad.
