15 clear ITTF umpires course

KARACHI, Jan 4: Six women are among 15 who have successfully cleared the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) basic level umpires course held in the city last month.

The names were intimated to the Pakistan Table Tennis Federation (PTTF) by the course conductor, Neela Kanta Ganeshan Iyer of India.

As many as 22 men and women umpires from all over the country appeared in the four-day course held under the aegis of the PTTF for the first time.

Successful candidates:

Saira Bibi, Perveen Akhtar, Qudsia Raja, Aun Raza, Farhanuddin, Rehanuddin, Kamran, Farkhanda, Haleema Khan, Ataullah, Mehreen Yousuf, Uzma Bashir, Shahid Baloch, Sajjad Asghar and M. Abbas.
