My security also being ignored: Nawaz

Published December 30, 2007

LAHORE, Dec 29: Blaming the government for improper security arrangements that caused Ms Bhutto’s assassination, Pakistan Muslim League-N leader Nawaz Sharif said on Saturday his security was also being ignored.

He was talking to the media before leaving for Naudero.

“Mohtarama Benazir Bhutto was killed due to improper security measures while my security is also negligible.”

Mr Sharif said that he was with the PPP on the issue of poll boycott.

In reply to a question about government reports that his name was on the hit list of terrorists, he said Musharraf too was on the hit list (of terrorists).
