Driver killed in accident

LAKKI MARWAT, Dec 29: A man was killed while two others were injured when a rickshaw collided with a truck on the Lakki-Mianwali road near Michenkhel on Saturday.

The rickshaw was on its way to Saeedkhel area when it collided head-on with the truck, witnesses said. Rickshaw driver Zafrullah Khan, a resident of the Dabak Mandrakhel area, was killed while two rickshaw passengers were seriously wounded. They were identified as Maulana Fazlur Rehman, a resident of the Lakki City, and Muhammad Amir, a resident of Dabak Mandrakhel, were taken to the city hospital. One of the wounded was later shifted to Peshawar in a precarious condition.—Correspondent
