Candidate boycotts polls

ISLAMABAD, Dec 29: An independent candidate from NA-48 constituency has announced to boycott the forthcoming general election in protest against the killing of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairperson Benazir Bhutto.

In a press statement issued here on Saturday, independent candidate Dr Aftab Sulehri said that the killing of the PPP chairperson during the election campaign rally in Rawalpindi on Thursday was worst kind of terrorism.
