NAWABSHAH, Dec 26: Chief Engineer Sukkur Barrage, left bank region, has announced closure of all the canals of Sukkur Barrage due to annual closure.

According to a press release issued by the chief engineer, all the canals of the Sukkur barrage would remain close from Jan 6 to 20 (both days inclusive) for the purpose of normal inspection, maintenance and necessary repair.
