Cold, dry weather to persist

LAHORE, Dec 25: The local Meteorological Department on Tuesday forecast cold and dry weather with haze in the morning for the city during the next 24 hours.

As per synoptic situation, cold and dry continental air prevails over the country, which according to weather pundits, will cause cold and dry weather in Rawalpindi, Lahore, Gujranwala, Sargodha and Faisalabad, and mainly dry weather in Multan, Bahawalpur and Dera Ghazi Khan divisions during the next 24 hours.

The city’s maximum temperature was recorded at 23 degrees Celsius and minimum four degrees Celsius with 93 per cent humidity in the morning and 39 per cent in the evening. —APP
