JACOBABAD, Dec 23: The residents of UC-8 Jacobabad, took out a rally here on Saturday against kidnapping of a teacher, Wazir Ali and a boy Fayyaz Abro.

The rally which started from DAC colony reached outside the press club after marching on different roads of the city.

The protesters carried banners and placards, raised slogans against police. They said Wazir Ali and four Hindus were kidnapped from Sultankot road in the jurisdiction of Shikarpur while Fayyaz Abro 5, was kidnapped from Dastagir colony UC-8. They vowed to boycott the January 8 elections.

Speaking on the occasion, councillor, Kamil Shah, Raja Mirani, Mohammad Rahim and others said that two other children Gurhiya 5 and Akshey Kumar were also kidnapped from Jacobabad but police had failed to find any clue.

They demanded of the district administration to help recover the kidnapped persons otherwise they would extend their protest drive.

They announced boycott of the elections and also urged the people of Jacobabad to boycott the January 8 elections as a mark of protest against kidnappings.
