LAHORE, Dec 18: Elections pending in three district football associations of the Punjab will be held on Jan 2 and 3.

The PFF-appointed election commissioner Nayyar Hasnain Haider had conducted the elections in all the districts of the province in April this year except in Lahore, Faisalabad and Jhang as there were disputes in their electoral lists.

The commissioner left the three districts out in order to complete the elections as per schedule.

The elections will now be held in Lahore on Jan 2, followed by Faisalabad and Jhang on the next day.

Meanwhile, the Islamabad region elections will be completed by Dec 29 and in Fata, Azad Jammu and Kashmir and the Northern Areas on Jan 6 and 7.
