LAHORE, Dec 18: The LPG Distributors Association on Tuesday protested against a sudden increase of Rs7 per kilo in the price of liquefied petroleum gas.
Association Chairman Irfan Khokhar said most of the companies were selling a gas cylinder for less than Rs650, but SHV and Super Gas were selling it for Rs763 without any justification.
He said the two companies had increased the gas prices by Rs80 per domestic cylinder and Rs320 per commercial cylinder. As many as 1,982 trucks were awaiting deliveries at 57 filling plants which had run out of gas.
