SHEIKHUPURA, Dec 18: Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid-i-Azam (PML-Q) workers allegedly shot a Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) activist dead and two others injured over political rivalry in Mission Kalar locality in Factory Area police precincts on Tuesday evening. This was first incident of its kind in the district.

Meanwhile, some PML-Q workers reached there and stopped PML-N workers from installing the banners. They had a heated argument followed by a scuffle on which PML-Q workers resorted to firing as a result of which Asadullah was killed on the spot while two others sustained bullet injuries. The assailants fled and could not be arrested till the filing of this report. — Correspondent
