SHIKARPUR: Highwaymen kidnap four

SHIKARPUR, Dec 18: Highwaymen kidnapped four passengers and took the wagon away near Choi Shakh at Shikarpur-Jacobabad Road on Tuesday.

A wagon carrying 22 passengers was going from Sukkur to Jacobabad when armed men intercepted it and at gunpoint took the wagon away with passengers towards Golo Daro Forest Area.

The accused after identification of passengers chose Jaipal Das, Raj Kumar, Babu Lal and Wazir Ali Mahar - all residents of Jacobabad - and took them away in the wagon. They dropped other passengers after tying them up with ropes in Forest Area.A heavy police contingent led by RPO Sukkur, Mohammad Bachal Sangri, DIP Operation Larkana, Abdul Majeed Dasti, DPO Shikarpur, Mansoor Mughal and SP Investigation, Farooq Ahmed Jamali went in search of culprits.

KILLED: A person was killed by his friends in Warayo Mahar village in the jurisdiction of Lakhi Police on Tuesday.

Irfan Ali Memon was shot dead by Mohammad Umer Mahar and his friend after a dispute mobile set between the deceased and killers.

Lakhi Police registered an FIR on the complaint of the uncle of the deceased against Umer and other unidentified accused.
