HYDERABAD, Dec 18: An independent candidate for NA-223 and PS-51 Tando Allahyar, Abdul Ghani Dars, who had remained MPA in the past, retired from the contest on both the seats in favour of PPP candidates late on Monday night after meeting the PPP chairperson Ms Benazir Bhutto at Bachani House. He also announced to join PPP along with his supporters.Speaking at a gathering at the residence of Abdul Ghani Dars on Tuesday, PPP leader Abdul Sattar Bachani, PPP candidates for PS-52, Imdad Pitafi and district president PML-F, Thakur Haji Nazeer Kaimkhani, said that PPP candidates on one national and two provincial assembly seats would emerge victorious.

They said that all those, who matter in Tando Allahyar district, were united against the Magsi family. After the withdrawal of Abdul Ghani Dars, Ms Shamshad Sattar Bachani (PPP), Ms Adeeba Gul Magsi (PML-Q) and Mehmood Qadir Khanzada (MQM) are in the field for NA-223.

Later, PPP leaders and activists staged a huge rally in the town. The Khokhars of Tando Allahyar who hold a lot of clout and PML-F, have already abandoned the Magsi family to its own fate. The situation has radically changed against Magsis during the last four days.

On PS-51, Syed Ali Nawaz Shah Rizvi (PPP), Mir Mohammad Ghulam alias Mir Pappu and MQM’s Abdul Sattar Kaimkhani will contest against one another.
