NEW DELHI, Dec 15: Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, Anil Kumble and former Indian captain Nari Contractor will be honoured in Mumbai on Sunday at the Indian cricket board’s yearly awards function.

Contractor, 73, whose career was reduced by a nasty bouncer from Charlie Griffith, will receive the ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’, carrying a cheque for Rs1,500,00 (US$38,000), the C K Nayudu Trophy and a citation.

Tendulkar will collect two awards while Dravid and Kumble one each, a BCCI release said.

Tendulkar will get the Polly Umrigar Award for outstanding performance in international matches in the 2006-07 season, carrying Rs500,000 prize (US$12,700) and a trophy, as well as a special trophy for reaching personal landmarks of 11,000 and 15,000 runs in Tests and ODIs respectively.

Dravid will be given a special trophy for completing 10,000 runs in ODIs while Kumble will be felicitated and awarded a trophy for being appointed as the captain of the Indian Test team, as well as completing 550 wickets in Tests.

Karnataka batsman Robin Uthappa and Bengal pacer Ranadeb Bose would each get Rs100,000 (US$2500) and the Madhavrao Scindia Award for scoring the highest number of runs and taking the most number of wickets respectively in the 2006-07 domestic season.

The Mumbai Cricket Association will receive a trophy for the best performance in the 2006-07 domestic season while Jhulan Goswami would receive Rs100,000 and a trophy for becoming the ICC Women’s Cricketer of the Year 2007.
