KARAK: PPP-S man withdraws nomination

KARAK Dec 14: The Pakistan People’s Party (Sherpao) candidate for PF-40, Karak, Syedullah Shah on Friday has withdrawn his nomination papers in favour of an independent candidate, Mian Nisar Gul Kakakhel.

At a press conference here on Friday, Mr Shah said that the decision had been taken on the directives of party high-ups after a thorough deliberation with friends. He claimed that the support of PPP-S would strengthen the position of Mr Kakakhel. Party workers would run an effective campaign for him, he added.

Mr Kakakhel thanked Mr Shah for his support.
