LAHORE, Dec 12: The All Parties Democratic Alliance (APDM) steering committee in its meeting on Thursday set up committees for coordination with trade unions, media and civil society in respect of the proposed drive for urging people to boycott polls.

It also framed a couple of slogans: ‘Adlia Bachao Musharraf Hatao’ (save judiciary remove Musharraf) and `Boycott for restoring judges.’

The meeting, chaired by Istaqlal Party’s Manzoor Gilani, also decided to print stickers carrying the slogan “Boycott, don’t disturb for seeking vote.”

The stickers would be pasted at almost all households.

Final decisions on a proposal for holding public meetings at Islamabad and all the four provincial capitals and taking out a `democracy caravan’ across the country were pending with the national consultative conference scheduled to be held in Islamabad on Dec 18. —Staff Reporter
