Ruling Ittehad group sweeps SCCI polls

SIALKOT, Dec 13: The ruling Ittehad Founders’ group on Thursday made a clean sweep in chamber elections by defeating Democratic Founders’ group. The Ittehad group bagged all the four seats of Member Class and all three slots of Associate Class during the annual elections of the executive committee of Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI).

According to the results, ruling Ittehad group candidates Majid Raza Bhutta, Abid Mehmood Qureshi, Pervaiz Ahmad Khan and Aamir Hamid Khan were elected members of the Member Class while Mir Farooq Mayer, Muhammad Ghafoor and Asim Shafiq Sulehria made it to the Associate Class of the SCCI executive committee.
