CHITRAL, Dec 11: The Chitral district has been excluded from the Road Sector Development Project (RSDP) under which the provincial government will construct 500 kilometres roads.

An official of the works and services department told Dawn on Tuesday that the Asian Development Bank had allocated Rs9,222 million for the project with the local component of Rs1,837 million.

He said that not a single road for Chitral had been included in the project despite the fact that the district needed more roads owing to its location in hilly terrain.
