KARACHI, Dec 6: Civil judge and judicial magistrate, West, Ghulam Yaseen Kolachi on Thursday sent 11 Indian fishermen into jail custody on a 14-day judicial remand.

According to the prosecution, the Maritime Security Agency detained the fishermen, and two boats, on Dec 3. They were caught about 70 nautical miles inside Pakistan’s exclusive economic zone.

A case (FIR No203/07) was registered against the fishermen under Section 3(4) of the Fishery Act at the Docks police station.
