LAHORE, Dec 5: The judges who were deposed after refusing oath under the Provisional Constitution Order (PCO) were the victims of fascism, the Jamiat Ahle Hadith chief said here on Wednesday.

Commenting on the removal of Supreme Court and high court judges, Prof Sajid Mir said it was continuation of President Musharraf’s dictatorship which hurt people’s sentiment and brought bad name to Pakistan throughout the world.

He said the opposition should unite to foil the government’s poll rigging plan.

He said Maulana Fazlur Rehman and Benazir Bhutto were strengthening

Mr Musharraf’s hands instead

of standing by people.
