Lawyers stage protest in Pindi

RAWALPINDI, Nov 27: Local lawyers on Tuesday came out of court premises and protested against imposition of emergency in Pakistan.

They marched towards the Kutcheri chowk and clashed with the police when they tried to stop the lawyers. The lawyers snatched batons of the policemen and went to the Kutcheri chowk where they blocked the road for 30 minutes. They chanted slogans against the government.

Later, they returned to the courts.
