KARACHI: Arts council election

KARACHI, Nov 27: The Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi, on Tuesday announced the schedule of its annual election.

According to a press release, voters’ lists have already been issued and objections, if any, would be entertained till Nov 28. The final voters’ list will be issued on Nov 29. Nomination papers will be received till Dec 1 and scrutiny will be held on Dec 3. The date for the withdrawal of nomination papers is Dec 5 and the final list of the candidates will be displayed on Dec 6. Polling will be held on Dec 16.
