JI to observe protest day

RAWALPINDI, March 28: The Jamaat-i-Islami is observing protest day on Friday throughout the country against the government policies, especially the continuing price-hike, unemployment and increasing poverty.

The local JI leaders will expose the failures of the government to the protest demonstrations that will be staged in all the big and small cities.

The demonstrations will, however, be peaceful and restricted to specific locations due to ban on such gatherings.

In Rawalpindi, the demonstration will be held in front of Al- Ikram Building, the JI’s local headquarter. On this occasion, a seminar on price-hike has also been arranged.— Our Reporter
