‘PPP-S to do well in polls’

PESHAWAR, Nov 22: Chief of his own faction of People’s Party Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao hopes that his party will do well in general elections because of its ‘vibrant’ policies.

Presiding over a meeting of the party’s parliamentary board, he said the PPP-S would field candidates for national and provincial assembly seats and would approach the electorate on the basis of its performance. PPP-S secretary-general Anisazeb Tahirkheli, deputy secretary-general Habibur Rehman Tanoli, provincial president Pervaiz Khattak, provincial secretary-general Sikandar Hayat Sherpao and vice-president Ghaniur Rehman attended the meeting.—Bureau
