KASUR, Nov 20: Three people were killed and two others sustained serious injuries in a road accident on Multan Road near Pattoki on Tuesday.

Reports said a Burewala-bound bus (LRD-5375) applied brakes suddenly to pick a passenger as a result two trucks struck against it. Truck owner Ejaz Akram, driver Muhammad Ashraf and businessman Abid of another truck were killed on the spot and two others sustained injuries. They were rushed to Pattoki THQ hospital.
