Bedil’s Urs begins on 25th

LARKANA, Nov 19: The 139th annual Urs of renowned poet and scholar Fakir Qadir Bakhsh Bedil would begin on Nov 25 at his shrine in Rohri, said the chairman of Bedil Yadgar Committee, DCO of Sukkur, Khawaja Shafiq Ahmed on Monday.

Sukkur District Nazim Syed Nasir Hussain Shah would open the Urs celebrations, which featured Mehfil-i-Sama, Mushaira on Nov 26 at Bedil-Bekus Auditorium in Rohri, Menhdi, Adabi Conference on Nov 27 and a musical programme, he added.

LOOTED: Five armed men blocked the National Highway near Noorpur and looted several vehicles. Passengers staged a sit-in and blocked the road demanding the arrest of dacoits and recovery of the looted money and valuables.
