Three govt employees kidnapped

GHALANAI, Nov 18: Masked men kidnapped three employees of the Public Health Engineering Department in the Ambar area on Sunday, officials and residents said.

The employees — driver Waqar, electrician Rukhsar and valve-man Mohammad Iqbal — were going to the Ambar tehsil in their official car when they were kidnapped.

No one has claimed responsibility for the kidnapping.

BODY FOUND: The body of an unidentified man was found in a dry water course in the Surdaag area, 15 kilometres off here on Sunday. The political authorities took the body into custody and shifted it to the Ghalanai Agency Headquarters Hospital for identification.

Sources said the victim was between 35 and 40 years of age.

They said that marks of violence were visible on the body.
