Five lawyers granted bail

KHAIRPUR, Nov 17: Five arrested lawyers of Gambat Bar Association were granted bail by first civil judge and judicial magistrate Gambat on Saturday.

The lawyers, Pir Bux Shaikh, Abdul Latif Narejo, Shafi Mohammad Bango, Din Mohammad Bango and Abdul Raheem Jamaro, were released from Gambat police station.

They were arrested by the police for violating Section 144 on Friday.

After their release they were taken in a rally, led by president DBA Khairpur Syed Bachal Shah, general secretary Abdul Qayoom Shaikh and PLF Sukkur region president Liaquat Shar, to the shrine of a sufi saint, Sachal Sarmast.—Correspondent
