MANSEHRA, Nov 11: A man and his wife, who had fled Mardan after marrying of their own will four months ago, were killed here on Saturday night.

Police sources said Israr alias Majid and Nargis had shifted to Mansehra’s Hafiz Bandi area after marrying against the wishes of their parents.

On Saturday night, some people barged into their rented house and sprayed them with bullets.

Police have registered a case.

APDM: Police have booked 15 leaders and activists of the All Parties Democratic Movement for taking out a procession on Friday against the proclamation of emergency and conducted raids for their arrests, Dawn has learnt.

District chief of Jamaat-i-Islami Younas Khattak and provincial voice-president of PML-N former MPA Faiz Khan were among those booked.

Five activists of Jamaat-i-Islami were arrested and shifted to the Haripur Central Prison.
