KARACHI, Nov 9: A head-constable died and three person, including a constable, were wounded in a road accident on Native Jetty Bridge in Keamari Town on Friday.

The head-constable, Iqbal, and the constable, Abdul Latif, were on their way back home on a bike (KGZ-3694) from the Chief Minister’s House after night duty when the bike collided with another bike (KCB-2153) on the bridge. The policemen and the two riders of the other bike, identified as Anthony and Lourey, sustained injuries and were rushed to the Civil Hospital, where Iqbal succumbed to his injuries.

Later, Anthony and Lourey were shifted to Seven Day Hospital, police said.

An FIR was registered at the Jackson police station.—PPI
